Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for early conversations. Your signed contract and Jordanian law always prevail — seek legal review for high-value or unusual risk profiles.
How long does a typical project take?
Duration depends on scale, approvals path, and whether multiple facilities run in parallel. We provide indicative programmes only after a scoped review — start with a consultation if you need early certainty.
Who owns the design?
Authorship and liability follow your appointment. Where SKKB is engineer/architect of record for a package, that is stated in the agreement; otherwise we coordinate with your retained consultants and build or supervise to issued information.
Do you provide design-and-build or turnkey services?
Yes, where the contract permits — we can combine design leadership with construction management or contractor coordination, or support traditional design–bid–build routes.
What is included in project management?
Milestones, procurement interfaces, site reporting, and change control — not trade labour unless explicitly contracted.
Can you extend or retrofit an existing warehouse?
Often yes — subject to structure, fire strategy, landlord interfaces, and authority approvals. We coordinate structural and MEP upgrades with operations continuity where required.
Do you handle hazardous materials or ammonia refrigeration?
We have delivered facilities with hazardous process zones and ammonia-based frozen storage under rigorous safety and ventilation regimes — scope and specialist certifications are defined per project.
How do professional fees and payments work?
Milestones linked to measurable deliverables are typical for consultancy; construction stages follow your building contract. Exact terms are agreed in writing — this website is not an offer.
What regions do you cover?
Our office is in Amman. We execute and supervise projects across Jordan — including the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea corridor, central wholesale markets, and major urban centres — feasibility depends on team availability and specialist subcontractor coverage.
How do I request a site visit?
Use the schedule form on the Contact page or call the Amman office number listed there.
