Privacy policy
Saeed Buqaileh Engineering Consulting (SKKB), Amman, Jordan, is responsible for this public website. This policy explains what personal information we may process when you contact us or browse the site, why we use it, and how long we keep it. We apply proportionate measures aligned with applicable Jordanian data-protection requirements; have counsel review this text if you adopt heavy analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-border transfers.
Who we are & scope
SKKB provides engineering consulting, design, and related construction-stage services. For privacy purposes we act as the controller of personal data submitted through the channels described below. Our office address, telephone, and general email appear on the Contact page. If you need a formal data-controller notice for a tender or authority, request it from the office.
What we collect & why
Contact and scheduling: if you use the visit or consultation form, we may process your name, telephone number, optional email address, project type, and free-text message so we can respond to your enquiry and, if instructed, prepare a proposal or appointment. Technical data: web servers and hosting providers may automatically log IP address, user agent, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting — retention depends on host configuration and should be minimised. Marketing: we do not sell personal data. If you later enable analytics or CRM integrations, document each tool, legal basis, and retention in an updated version of this policy.
Cookies, security & sharing
The application may set cookies required for security (for example session integrity for staff using the admin area) and for basic functions such as language preference on the public site. We do not use behavioural advertising cookies on the brochure site as shipped. We do not share enquiry data with unrelated third parties except processors who help us run the site or email (for example hosting or transactional email) under appropriate instructions. We apply access controls and sensible password hygiene on office systems that store client correspondence.
Your choices & contact
You may ask the office to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you where the law permits and where deletion does not conflict with our duty to retain project records for legitimate periods. To exercise a request, email or call using the details on the Contact page and describe your enquiry clearly. If we cannot resolve a concern, you may refer to the competent supervisory authority in Jordan once designated procedures are clear — SKKB will cooperate in good faith with lawful requests.
Confidentiality & project records
Drawings, specifications, correspondence, pricing, and site information developed or received under engagement are treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law, by your written instructions, or to vetted subconsultants and subcontractors who need the information to perform their scopes (under appropriate duties of confidence). Retention follows your contract, insurer requirements, and statutory archiving rules where they apply — request a retention summary from the office when prequalifying or bonding a programme.
